Minipost: Cloud Serpent, My Friend

Little gold serpent, weren't we quite the match?
You and I, best friends, since the moment you hatched.

We played, we trained, we had oh so much fun,
Two handsome fellows the color of red morning sun.

I love how you'd always want to play catch with me,
Though I wish you'd stop throwing the ball into the sea.

It was my pleasure to fetch you your favorite dish,
Sugary Minnows and cakes made of fish.

And for those days when your mood was cranky and foul,
A few tender tiger flanks always got rid of your scowl.

And it wasn't all training or rustling up snacks.
Sometimes it was nice to just sit and relax.

Time went by fast, and you grew like a weed!
Soon you were full-grown and primed for aerial speed.

Elder Anli and the others celebrated your growth,
And we joined their ranks with a bow and an oath.

All the hard work, the effort, the fuss,
It was all worth it, my friend, so high-five to us!

But wait, what's this? You can be sold? Is that right?
I find myself filled with surprise and delight!

Seven-fifty gold, that's quite a price!
With profit like that, no need to think twice.

Sorry dear friend, but that's a lot of gold!
And you know I've a fashion rep to uphold.

Besides, I already have a beautiful mount.
You'd really just be one of too many to count!

So this is goodbye, my serpentine friend.
Our time together has finally come to an end.

It is good to do on alts, but that was your buddy, you should have kept him. Heck, all the golden crap you got while catching his minnows should have netted you are few thousands. At least on most servers. lol
