Minipost: A (double) Legendary Tale

I've been running Molten Core on Morgion for a while now. Never super hardcore or anything - if I remembered to do it I would, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over missing a few weeks. At first, my goal was to make Sulfuron. Then, it was to get the newly-implemented minipets. And after that, it was to finish off the last 10k or so reputation and finally hit Exalted with the Hydraxian Waterlords.

However, even though I wanted to be done there, I couldn't stop. Somewhere along the way I'd gotten a Binding of the Windseeker, one of the two halves needed to create the Vanilla Legendary sword, Thunderfury. I didn't REALLY care about Thunderfury, and we didn't need it for the guild achievement, but despite all this I couldn't let this business go unfinished. I knew I'd have to keep running Molten Core until I got the second damn Binding, or I'd never forgive myself.

So I ran it whenever I was bored and wanted to kill half an hour or so, slowly stocking up on Sulfuron Ingots and Blood of the Mountains because...well, why not? (The Bloods actually came in handy, as I was able to help Stop finish up his DK's Sulfuron.)

It quickly became a chore, an annoyance that I'd have to force myself to endure. The place had no interesting transmog gear, no DK tier pieces, no patterns I could use, nothing really of any interest to me. I thought about just giving up and keeping the Binding as a souvenir, and yet every now and then I'd find myself Mole Machining down to BRD and legging it out to Lothos for another run at Baron Geddon.

And then this happened.

Yeah...that's BOTH BINDINGS, within a few minutes of each other. IN A SINGLE RUN.

Pretty hilarious.

So I zoned out, grabbed the Elementium Ingots I'd been saving up (I've been running BWL a lot as Fabulor, for Nef's scepter, and also other reasons I'll post about later), smelted some Fancy Elementium Bars or whatever they were, and returned to finish off Rag, and...presto! A second Legendary for Morgion!

Now all I need to do is finish off Shadowmourne for the hat trick.

(Two bindings in a single run. What the hell, haha.)
