Minipost: Super Moonkin Kart

In our raid team, we have a Boomkin whose favorite mount has long been the Goblin Trike. Now, I totally get this. It's a great mount, especially for a basic racial one! It's one of Morgion's preferred mounts, too.

But...have you ever seen a Boomkin riding one of these??

They're just so big and fat, and the Goblin Trikes are so tiny, and they drive all hunched over and squished into its tiny seat...it really is hilarious watching them putter around.

The sight of Aldous cruising around made many of us think of Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo, Donkey Kong and Bowser in particular. Something about the proportions of their massive frames in those tiny little karts.

For ages, we talked about how funny it would be to get a bunch of people all mounted on trikes and actually do Mario Kart-style races around a track of some kind. Sadly, we never got around to actually doing this, but it's been one of TTGF's running jokes for quite some time now.

Why is this relevant? Well, yesterday Aldous told us he's going to stop playing WoW to focus on a new career, which also involves a pretty significant move. Which is really sad, but also really awesome, and though we're going to be sad to lose our Boozekin, we obviously understand and wish him the best.

So Aldous, since we never got the chance to actually do our Mario Kart race in-game, your feathery likeness can do it for us.

Haha, the resemblance is so striking, especially when you even have a small pixelated version alongside the rest.
