Minipost: The fickle farming gods are angry
A while back, Vid and I featured the above panel in a From Draenor strip. We're all familiar with the soul-sucking disappointment of seeing a Wiggling or Alluring soil patch. AWFUL.
Well, ever since that strip I've been noticing my farming has been...troublesome. I guess the Gods of Farming didn't take kindly to our poking fun at them.
That's Morgion in the middle there somewhere, being swarmed by birds. God, I hate those birds.
Six out of eight soil patches Occupied? Really? REALLY? And I hadn't even harvested the back eight patches yet! Auuuuuuuuuuugh!
Stop
I'm almost at the point where I'd rather have more alluring/wiggling crops than wild ones. I'm very, very tired of flexing at tentacles.

Well, all I can say is at least I'm not the only one. I *love* that first pic. The 'Sha' jokes are still funny to me. (not sarcasm, I love them)

LOL! Sorry about those angry fickle gods, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only farm affected lately. :)

I'm totally with Stop there. I hate the wild crops. They seem to take so much more time to deal with than even the alluring or wiggling ones. I'm glad to see that someone shares my opinion.

I've noticed a direct correlation between the time you have to do it and how many animals you run into.
10 minutes before raid time and you are trying to get it done fast? 50/50 your chance of getting a critter. 5 minutes before? You best be fast because nearly every one will have some animal or be that stupid weed you need to jump on.
If you are doing on a sunday morning while reading the morning funnies and drinking a nice cup of piping hot coffee and are in no rush, expect for everyone to be parched or infected where you can clear many with one click. And on the rare occasion it is not one of those you just kneel down and pull it up.
Might just be my imagination, but it sure seems like the less time you have the more likely you are to get a critter.

I do all my farming in Tank spec, and pop open all the buggers at once. It becomes one long fight rather than 2-5 little ones.
The ones I hate the most are the "jump on" plants, where all you do is spam the 1 key. Its dull.

Agreed about wild crops vs. alluring/ wiggling. You can just click them all and AOE them down in one go to save time, but all the wild crops have to be dealt with one by one... spam-clicking and WAITING and it will never get faster no matter how long you farm. Gah.
