Minipost: Galleon, what ARE you doing?

Most of us are familiar with Pandaria's two world raid bosses, the Sha of Anger, who hangs around spamming General Chat in Kun-Lai Summit, and Galleon (aka Salyis's Warband), who makes his home in Valley of the Four Winds and has a much longer spawn time.

Personally? I've killed the Sha of Anger a bunch of times. But Galleon? I've only even SEEN this sucker once. And that was at 3 am, when there was no hope in hell of getting a group together to kill him.

I hovered around and took some screenshots, because I didn't know when (or if) I'd even see him again. And I watched him use his shoulder-mounted cannons (a very cool idea) to send flaming cannonballs across the river, over and over again, constantly bombarding the...

...the Silken Fields?

Not sure what Salyis and his cronies have against tailoring, but MAN do those Saurok hate that place. Maybe they're mad you can't really make anything with Imperial Silk? Or maybe it's residual rage leftover from Cataclysm, when Tailoring was a nightmare to level and everyone was "wasting" Embersilk on silly things like bandages.

And they're not very good bandits either, are they? I mean, the Silken Fields? Not a very good target. I mean, we all know the REAL money's just a bit north, at Halfhill. Veggies, Songbells and Ironpaw Tokens > Silk and moth eggs.

Amateurs.

It has to do with the Mothra-like 'boss' that spawns there for a quests. It's a parody on Mothra vs Godzilla :)

Maybe he's just jealous that he can't turn his spit into beautiful cloth.

Galleon is like a little kid that avoids veggies, hiding them under his plate as if "If I can't see it, doesn't exist".

And it has an instinctive "Gah! Bug! Smash!"

They better make something awesome that it is easy to get the recipe for to make out of Imperial Silk at some point this expansion, because I have more than 30.

You can make 28 slot bags with imperial silk. That's very useful,
