Transmog Spotlight: Fabulor Gets Judgemental
Yes, you're seeing that right. It's Judgement.
My distaste - some would say loathing - for the Judgement set is very well-known.
But it's such an unpopular opinion. Everyone loves Judgement! And then today, when Blizzard revealed the Blizzcon store items, I realized I just can't fight this fight anymore.
That's a Judgement bathrobe. A REAL-LIFE JUDGEMENT MOG.
That's it! I know when I'm licked. I surrender, Judgement. You win.
And hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
The Judgement colors are super bright, which always works well for Fabulor. Red, black and gold is a very sharp color combination, and the vibrancy and high amount of contrasts between the colors really makes the set pop. I've never disputed this, I just thought the set was vastly overused. I have to admit, it does look pretty good.
And you know what, let's go all the way and complete the look with the iconic Vanilla sword so often used in tandem with this set, Ashkandi.

Heh heh, Fabulor, I am very impressed by you having spent all the effort to farm up both of those sets just to DE them to make a point.
I certainly agree that the sets in their entirety are overused. I'm not above playing mix-and-match with select pieces from them, though.
That Judgment bathrobe is pretty awesome, but I like the Avatar one better. ;)

I laughed so hard. That was amazing!
That said I do like the look of judgement. At least I like everything but the helm. My paladin wore it for a while with a different helm, and I may yet poke around with some of the pieces but I just can't get really excited about the whole set of it either. It -is- overused.

Erm, do you have the same scorn for the Blessed Battlegear set from the pre-Wrath event? (I know it's the same model, but at least it's a unique color.)

I don't hate the Blessed set, mostly because it's very rare and more of a "trophy" than Judgement.
(Granted, SOME players really did earn Judgement back in Vanilla and wear it proudly as a memento - but the majority of Judgement-wearers have simply gone back to BWL and farmed it up at higher level.)
