Minipost: Leisl, the Luckiest

Since we're near the end of the expansion, I haven't been doing a lot of Valor Point capping on Leisl (my Alliance hunter) anymore. What I have been doing, however, is trying to run LFR each week. Maybe not even the full 8 bosses, since there's rarely people on to run it with, but at least Hagara and Madness for the easy 500 VP.

Ideally, I'll queue for LFR and get into a group that's already 3/4 so I can get in and get out rather quickly. Nice dream, right? Well, strangely enough, it keeps working out exactly like this. I don't know if it's an Alliance thing or what, but every time I queue hoping just for Madness, that's what I get.

What I also find fascinating is just how darn lucky Leisl is. Here's my LFR history:

From those kills, I've won the utterly amazing Wrath of Unchaining from Spine of Deathwing, and from Madness, both a Kiril, Fury of Beasts and a Vishanka, Jaws of the Earth. She's also picked up LFR tier legs.

It's not the best string of luck I've heard of - it's no "full 4pc in a single week" or anything - but it's by far the best luck any of my characters have had in LFR. It took me quite a while to grab all three of those items on Rades, and Morgion got an LFR Souldrinker so late in the tier it was replaced literally the next week with an axe from Heroic Morchok.

Now that gear is mostly out of the picture for her, my eye falls to...pets. King Krush and Loque/Skoll/Arcturis, I'm looking at you! I need to replace my Wolf and Cat with some exotic friends, post-haste.

Wow, grats on the string of luck! That's just an awesome bow, something for my newest hunter to look forward to.

Good luck on the pets. They're fun to collect.

Hunters have good luck on Madness because only one class (Druids) can compete with them on Kiril, and *no* other class can compete for Vishanka. So there's not a huge amount of competition on their weapons.

About the only class that has it better in terms of Madness loot are Rogues - because a) no other class can compete with them on their dagger, b) there aren't many rogues out there, and c) quite a few rogues have shelled out to get stage 1 legendaries, and thus don't need the dagger from Deathwing.

People started to hate me when I first time entered LFR with my hunter and got head and chest of t13 + Vishanka + Kiril + Spine Trinket and also + the random trinket.

My nickname was changed to "Son of a bitch" for ~1 week in teamspeak and skype. xP

Hmm, let's see, those are the Talhide/Netherstorm Shoulderguards and Talhide/Netherstorm Chestpiece - http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=285.

The pants are Bloodmail Legguards, which are sadly no longer available (and there are no other plain black mail legs).

And the boots are Boneshard Boots, which are available for 1650 Justice Points.
