The Great Blog Noblegarden Egg Hunt 3.0!
It's almost April, which means it's almost time for the Great Blog Noblegarden Egg Hunt (3.0)! Started by Angelya, and now hosted by Kamalia (both awesome people), it's a fun blog event where bloggers hide eggs - in any shape, size or format - on their blogs, and then people try to find them! Anyone can participate, be it reader or blogger.
Go check out Kamalia's post for full details!
It's also a race - the fastest person or persons to find all the eggs wins a prize! (There are also prizes for the runner-ups.) This year, the prize is one I am rather connected with - a guest appearance in a From Draenor With Love strip! We have no idea what the strip will be or in what context the winning character will appear yet, of course. SO BE AFRAID.
Now, since I'm involved in the prize this year, I've decided not to participate as a seeker. Which is a good thing for anyone thinking of competing! I mean, I'm not saying I win this event every year, but I win it every year.
I will, however, be HIDING an egg on my blog somewhere! Honestly, I think this is just as much fun as the actual searching. You can get pretty creative when coming up with devious hiding places. This was my Noblegarden post from last year.
However, that wasn't enough. I wanted to add another level (WE NEED TO GO DEEPER) and add something for the tricksters to find. And by tricksters, I mean the searchers who get a little sneaky and decide to view a webpage's source code and look for telling filenames.
If, last year, you viewed my page's source code and searched for the following filenames, this is what you got instead of a delightful egg. (Click for full-size.)

I think these "easter eggs" (so to speak) are actually still hidden in the code, come to think of it!
Anyway, yeah. I'm not sure how I'll hide the egg this year, but be prepared! >:D
REMINDER: If you want to participate or if you have any questions, YOU HAVE TO TELL KAMALIA, not me! Leave such comments on her post so she can address them!

Hahahaha, Rades, those "digging through the code" pictures are hilarious!
Thanks for spreading the word! XD

I'm terrible at this. Just spent like half an hour looking at last year's post and I can't find the egg. T.T

@Rhyvin - Try looking for hidden mouseover links, indicated by different-color words. (Other than the obvious pink ones)!
