Minipost: WoW Screenshot Galleries on Google+

I joined Google+ a few days ago, and while I'm uncertain how much I'll actually use the social media aspect of it, it does have one great thing going for it - sharable photo galleries!

If you're interested, I've started two such collections of miscellaneous screenshots (I take a LOT of screenshots as I play). You don't need to be a Google+ user to view them.

Random WoW - Funny or silly shots, such as Tirion being kicked in the face by a horse (possibly my favorite screenshot ever).

Scenic WoW - Artistic or picturesque shots!

Here's some other examples of screenshots in the Scenic gallery:

Also, I'm going to be on the Twisted Nether Blogcast this Saturday! I'm quite excited and honored to be asked, should be a lot of fun! Show starts at 8PM PST, hope to see some familiar faces in the chatroom!

    Beautiful!
What's your stand on others using your pictures on say, their blog? (And if so, how would you like to be credited? To the google+, or here?)

You know, that's something I've often debated, the use of other people's screenshots. The way I look at using screenshots is:

    a) If someone else took the shot and their character is in the picture, I credit them.

    b) If someone else took the shot and they have done some touch-up / Photoshop work on the screenshot, I credit them.

    c) Otherwise, if it's a screenshot that anyone could have taken, with little/no editing, I don't usually credit. What's the difference between an unedited shot of Malfurion that you took and one that I took? Virtually nothing.

To answer your question, though, you're more than welcome to use any of my screenshots! Just throw a little link back to here, if possible. :)

You should TOTALLY do a story by pictures, like they do in national geographic. Something about your screenshots are just more life-like than anything I've ever seen.

Personally, I collect other people's screenshots as desktop backgrounds. I have a bunch from Angelya's Revive and Rejuvenate, for example. (I save them as [name]_[blog name for short], so like dragonblight_r&r is one.)

I'd love to use that blue one of the Gilnean forest you have, but I can't get it in a cool screen size. :(

You have some truly awesome screenshots in there; Poneria's right, they'd be amazing backgrounds! Have you ever submitted to the Around Azeroth feature on WoW Insider?

(And I know I'll be there with bells on Saturday! Good luck!!)
