Welcome to Draenic Army Knife!

My Draenei Hunter! Pew pew pew! :D

Yes, you may have noticed a facelift around here today! I've been struggling inwardly with a difficult decision recently. As much fun as I've been having running around smashing faces as a Forsaken Death Knight, as much as I love taming new exotic pets on my Orc Hunter, my WoW life has been missing something. SPACE GOATS.

I can't fight it any longer! On a whim, I thought I'd roll a Draenei Hunter and test the crashed-spacecraft-polluted waters of Azuremyst Isle. Within a few minutes of murdering hapless wildlife with the help of my adorable baby Moth, I was hooked!

I couldn't believe how fast the leveling was going, and I merrily blazed through the Draenei starting zone and hit up some other Alliance regions I'd been neglecting. Wetlands! Westfall! Redridge Mountains! I'd always wondered what these areas were about, and now I could finally explore them! It was like a brand new game! :D

Just killed a disgusting spider! Covered in goop! But it's all good because I'm playing a Draenei! :D

I've got to be honest, I'm really loving the peacefulness of these quests! On the Horde, it was always "OMG kill these guys or else we're all going to die!" or "We're at war! Time to go murder dozens of people!"

But on the Alliance side, it's remarkably idyllic and soothing. "I just knit some warm new socks, can you please deliver them to my husband?" "Would you be a dear and go fetch me some ingredients for my mud pie dinner?" "Let's go for a picnic! (Objective: Go for a picnic with Delores.)" It's so nice and pleasant! I luv it!

I even stepped into some battlegrounds! I was nervous. My fingers were trembling! :O Would I be able to kill my former friends and allies? Turns out...YES! It was like stepping into a worn-in, comfortable set of jewel-encrusted hoof-shoes!

I think I am sold! Next payday I'll be race changing all my toons to Alliance! My heart belongs in the Exodar, riding giant fluffy pink Elekks, and gleefully shouting Russian-sounding phrases that I don't understand! KRONO KAI KRISTO!!

But do not worry, if you were wondering where to turn for an Orcish voice in the blog community! A good friend will now be covering all things Orcish on her blog! Go say hello! Or as they say over there "Zug Zug!" (Hee hee. Zugzug! Zugzug!)

This pile of treasure represents my newfound joy while playing a Draenei! :D

(Yes, this was an April Fool's LIE! Blog appearance saved in this screenshot for posterity.)

For it all being pink and purple, your revamp is looking pretty fly. I must commend you on the choice of face and skin color of your new baby hunter as well...reminds me of a sexy Shaman I know.

Nice Mage army btw ; )

    A-hahaha-hahaha-haha-HA!

The reskin looks nice, and I like that even tho' you're still climbing up the leveling ladder, you've got some awesome screenies for your header marquee :D

::laughing:: I like the site makeover, though, to a non-web-design person like me, it seems a lot of work to keep with the spirit of the day, though. :) If you haven't already, make sure you go through all the Drae voice emotes, some of them are pretty entertaining. :)

But I do approve of spending time on both sides of the fence, definitely, even while I freely admit I cannot play a Forsaken, because they are too damned creepy and the "i-hate-everything-living-because-i'm-not" is just a turn-off...

btw... on an RP/story basis, why would a Forsaken go back to serving Arthas as one of his death knights?? That has always baffled me.

I've been meaning to ask who selected the butterfly for our tabard, but I guess I know now.

    Well played!

Certainly elaborate and thorough - I approve of any and all things Draenei.

    May the Light embrace you.

@Zinn-- Don't feel bad. Rades does have a Draenei Hunter. It's just not his main.

This would have been so sad if it wasn't an April Fool's joke. /sigh Rades, you got me.

It sounds more Greek, actually, than Russian --> Chrono kai christos (time and the anointed one). =P
